Frequently asked questions.

Frequently asked questions.

  • To become a member of Delta Sigma Pi – Zeta Xi, you must be in good academic standing and pursuing a major in Business, Computer Science, Aviation, or Economics.

  • Rush Week is a series of events hosted by Delta Sigma Pi – Zeta Xi to give interested students the opportunity to learn more about our fraternity, meet our members, and experience what it’s like to be part of our chapter.

  • No, but the more events you attend, the better chance you’ll have to get to know us (and for us to get to know you).

  • Not at all. Rush Week is a no-obligation opportunity to explore the fraternity and see if it aligns with you.

  • The basic time commitment for Delta Sigma Pi – Zeta Xi includes attending our bi-weekly chapter meetings, typically held on Wednesday nights at 7:00 PM. If this time doesn’t work with your schedule, we are always willing to work with you to find a solution.

In addition, members may be asked to volunteer for community service projects or fundraising events. These opportunities vary throughout the semester, but they’re a great way to get involved and give back.

If you decide to run for a leadership position in the future, your time commitment will increase, as you’ll take on more responsibilities within the chapter

  • As we get closer to Rush Week, a recruitment form will be posted on our chapter’s recruitment page. Simply fill it out and choose which Rush Week events you’d like to attend. Once you have submitted the form, we will contact you with next steps.

  • After you submit the interest form, you’ll be invited to participate in formal interviews. Following the interviews, a committee will review all applicants and select new pledges.

If you are selected, you will go through a five-week pledge education course, which includes a weekly meeting to help you learn more about Delta Sigma Pi, our values, and our chapter. After completing the course, you will be officially initiated as a member.
